How Can I Start Modeling?

So I get asked this question daily at least once or twice. This blog post will allow me to not only tell you how I started a bit but also explain how you can start too.
Let's start by answering some of the biggest questions I get asked;
*Does my body weight matter?
No, not anymore this industry is now filled with all body types.
*Do I have to be super tall?
No, especially if you're not interested in runway modeling.
*Will I have to do Runway? Can I do runway?
No, it is not mandatory. Yes if you are 5'8'' and up you can be trained to walk on runways, if you are shorter than that you might not be as lucky, not unless your walk is as good as Kate Moss, she is the first model to be 5'4'' and be a runway model.
*Will I get rich fast?
No you will not, if you are doing this because you think you will get rich fast think again! It takes most models years of hard work and dedication before you can actually make an income.
*Do I have to be confident?
Yes, absolutely! you must love yourself. If you are not comfortable in your own skin that will show in the pictures. Before considering this career make sure your self - esteem is high, because if it is not the industry will only tear you apart.
*Will I have to pose naked?
No, this is entirely optional.
*How can I start modeling?
The easiest and fastest way to start, is to do your research! find out what it takes to be a model the in's and out's, see if this is truly something you want to pursue. If it's your passion get some friends or family to take some "Digital's" of you. Look up online what Model Digital's look like and try to mimic them. Do this a few times while also taking time to practice poses in the mirror.
